For Secondary Math 2, students are required to have a scientific calculator. The recommended calculator is the

TI-30XS. This calculator has a four line display with a MathPrint mode that displays fractions, square roots, etc. the way they are typically displayed in a textbook. It also allows for more exact answers, and doesn't just give a decimal approximation. These are great calculators! The TI-36XS is similar.

Other scientific calculators, such as the TI-30X IIS are fine, but they do not have a MathPrint mode. Their display is not quite as nice as the TI-30XS.

This calculator WILL SOON BE available to check out in the school library or can be purchased at our school store. OUR CALCULATORS HAVEN'T ARRIVED YET, BUT SHOULD BE HERE SOON!!!

This calculator is also commonly found in retail stores that carry school supplies.
